Pricing

Pricing & Payment

Our fee reflects the responsibility of giving an independent professional opinion. It does not reflect hours worked, meetings attended, or the size of the team.

Rationale

What Pricing Is Based On

We do not price by the number of meetings, the length of the exchange, the size of the team, or the hours spent.

We price by the decision:

  • ·How sensitive it is
  • ·How much risk it carries
  • ·How complex, and how charged, its context is
  • ·The responsibility that comes with putting an independent opinion on it in writing

Minimum Threshold

USD 17,000

Non-divisible. This is the entry point for examining a high-impact decision. It pays for an independent opinion and for the responsibility of standing behind it, and it is a condition of any engagement with YBNA.

We do not work below this threshold. A decision is not split into parts to lower the cost, and the fee does not change with the size or nature of the client, whether an individual or an institution, or with how long the analysis takes.

Structure

Pricing Structure

Each engagement is priced on its own and covers one clearly defined decision. We set the fee after reading the decision, and we confirm it in writing before any payment is made. There are no subscriptions, no monthly retainers, and no ongoing accompaniment.

Anything beyond the agreed decision needs a separate written agreement and a separate fee. Each decision is examined once, with a defined scope and a clear end.

Payment

Payment Policy

  • ·The full fee is paid in advance, before work begins. Fees are quoted and paid in US dollars by bank transfer to YBNA LLC.
  • ·Nothing begins until the full fee has arrived and the scope of work has been confirmed in writing.
  • ·For fourteen calendar days after payment, the fee remains refundable. Work formally begins when that period ends.
  • ·If you would rather not wait, you may waive the refund period in writing at the time of payment. Work then begins on the day the payment arrives, and the fee is non-refundable from that day.
  • ·Once work has begun, the fee is not refundable, because what you are paying for is thought that cannot be taken back.
  • ·The written opinion is delivered within ten working days from the day work formally begins.
  • ·Should YBNA terminate an engagement on its own initiative at any stage, for any reason, or fail to deliver the opinion within the agreed period, the full fee is refunded to the client within fourteen calendar days.

Not Included

What Pricing Does Not Cover

  • ·Execution or operations
  • ·Attending meetings or calls
  • ·Preparing operational or detailed plans
  • ·Following up after delivery
  • ·Defending the decision before anyone, inside or outside the organisation

Any of these needs a separate agreement.

Accepting a fee proposal means accepting the minimum threshold, the advance payment policy, the defined scope of work, and YBNA's independence from whatever the decision leads to.
